Elg, Duane L. Age 75, of Balsam Lake, WI, passed away on March 30, 2017 doing what he loved most, skiing in Aspen, CO.
Preceded in death by parents and one sister. Survived by former wife of over 25 yrs. Barbara J. Elg; sons, Dustin L. Elg, Matthew R. Elg, and Zachary A. Elg; sister, LaVay (Elmer) Scott; nephews, Eric Scott and Alan Scott, as well as other relatives and many dear friends.
[He served in Peace Corps in Peru 1966 to 1968.]
A celebration of Duane's life will be held at his favorite gathering place, the Thirsty Otter, 101 County Rd I, Balsam Lake, WI 54810, Saturday, April 22, from 3-5 pm.
