The family of W. Ralph Crane is saddened to announce his passing on March 3, 2015 at the age of 67. The son of the late Walter and Sara Crane, Ralph was also predeceased by his sister Linda Heath. He was born in Miami, FL, and spent his childhood in South Florida.

While in the U.S. Peace Corps as a young man, Ralph met his future wife Rosario. The two were married in Lima in 1972, and eventually made their home in Tampa in 1983. Ralph worked as an executive at the John H. Harland Co. for 31 years, overseeing International Operations in Mexico and throughout the Carribean.

Upon retiring in 2013, Ralph enjoyed sailing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rosario Crane, daughter Stephanie Lieb (Gregory); daughter Ashley Crane (Scott); grandsons Lucas & Chase Lieb; and sister Sandra Brod.

The family is welcoming guests on Saturday, March 7 at 11 am followed by a memorial service at noon at Blount & Curry Funeral Home on 605 S MacDill Avenue.
