Justin served as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2004 to 2006 in the Chaco region of Bolivia. As a volunteer, he worked with the mayor’s office of Cuevo to develop a solid waste management program. He facilitated solid waste management workshops and he also formed a youth ecological group where he taught leadership skills to youth.   

After Peace Corps, Justin joined AmeriCorps where he worked for a nonprofit as a Life Skills Coach. After AmeriCorps, Justin moved to New York City where he earned his Masters in Urban Policy from The New School.

Currently, Justin works as a Financial Analyst where he monitors budgets and expenses for a local government in the San Francisco Bay Area. He lives in San Bruno with his Bolivian wife.
